R-Keeper 7 Database

Hello guy,

I have to connect and extract data out from R-Keeper 7 Manager.

I have searched in this forum about the database format of R-Keeper and find out that:

A R-keeper: кассовая часть - под DOS, менеджерская - WIN32 , написано на Delphi, базы данных работают через BDE32, Отчеты делаются при помощи Crystal Reports.

So my question is : Is DBE32 beeing used with RK7? And how to know where is the database file located.

My client send me some sample file with the name 000001FA.udb. I guess this is the data updated from POS to centralized DB. Am i correct?

If you know the answer, please help. (I read Russian pretty well. so just write your answer in Russian)

Hello.
Rkeeper 7 are using new database,that have been developed at UCS-Moscow .Status of this DB is "closed" so we can't read\write information from 3rd party APP.

Your client may extract meta-data from RK7 to .DBF format(Dbase) or other style and then send it to you for the futher actions.

Thank for the prompt answer. Definitely, the udb file is not in *.dbf format. If UCS decide to "close" its database. How can integrate RK7 front-desk data to back-office software.

1-C guys claimed that they can do it http://www.1c.ru/news/info.jsp?id=2120

Do you know if UCS has an option of selling their API or data access provider, something like ODBC for R-keeper?

I'm think - yes. Because in RK7 all build on scripts. But i'm don't now, how.

I think that you may make a shedule task for export data from RK7 ,but i don't know about this function :(
You may write a PM for a user "Count" he know RK7 as well as possible and may answer at any of your questions.

There are an OLEDB data access provide,but it connects just to StoreHouse API,Not RK7 UDB DB.

В общем - надо использовать штатный экспорт в (связь с) MSSQL2005/2008 можно даже Express, например.
А вот например экспорт в DBF использовать не рекомендую.
